A New Tool I absolutely Cannot Live Without

Last weekend I ran into a lady that I know that had visited my website.  She had this concerned look on her face, and something was really troubling her.  See, she had been to my website and found some grammatical errors on it.  She was concerned that this might deter people from wanting to move forward with me to do business.  I am so grateful that this woman said something because it led me to find the most amazing tool on the web.

In fact, I was working with one of my students, and he happened to mention out of the blue how his dad had got him this tool and it changed his life.  So I checked out the tool and I would have to say that it has changed my life as well.  In fact, I am using it right now as I type this.

The tool is called grammarly.  You can go to www.grammarly.com to check it out.  This tool takes care of all of my editing in a much more complete manner than any other tool I have seen yet.  In fact, it gives you actually suggestions that you can put into place right away so that your writing is much more clear for your readers.

As a person that writes books and now contributes articles on two blogs daily, I appreciate this tool because I don’f feel that I have to have my own private editor.  I -editing

also don’t have to feel embarrassed when people find errors and bring them to my attention.

You may be wondering what grammarly does that is different from other tools like it.  Here are some of the features that I have fallen in love with.

1.  You can download it to appear in every box that write on, in the web.  For example, as I am writing this post there is a green G at the bottom.  As soon as I make a mistake it turns red.  Then it gives me suggestions on how to fix my writing.  The green G also appears in my social media when I make a post.  No longer do I have to worry about major mistakes passing me by.  I feel like the green G has my back.

2.  It actually offers suggestions on how to word things.  I have started ignoring the little red and green lines in my wordprocessing if I didn’t know how to fix it.  Grammarly actually tells me how to fix it.  I then just click on the suggestion and it changes within my text.

3.  I can upload any document that I am working on into the website and it will go through the entire document looking for all the possible errors that could exist.  From there I can accept and make the changes.

I seriously can’t imagine my life without this tool.  If you pay yearly it is only $11.97, but they have other payment options as well.  I have not been paid to endorse this product, nor am I an affiliate in any way.  This product has been such a life saver to me that I just want to pass this amazing tool onto you.  You can check it out for a week for free and then choose the payment option that works best for you.

Do you use an editing tool that you just can’t live without?  I would love to hear about it.

  1. I’m glad you’ve found Grammarly so helpful! I actually am an editor, and when I came across Grammarly a year or two ago I thought it could be a useful tool, but I if I remember correctly I thought it had a lot of limitations, or just seemed to hamper my writing flow and style, so I don’t recommend it to people. Maybe it’s improved since I last checked it out.

Of course a machine can never give you the same level of attention to detail and nuance that a person can, but tools like this are a great resource for people who can’t or don’t want to hire an editor for all their writing.

  2. I am an Indonesian, but I use English in my blog. I just learnt passive English when I was 13 years old. There wasn’t anyone around me speaking English as well. I went to an English letter department in a university, but I didn’t understand about what the lecturers were saying. I think I need this tool. I never check my grammar so far as I am always in a hurry competing with the time. Thank you very much for your recommendation.
