I am Nilanjana Sanyal. I am a qualified teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience plus an online tutoring experience of 3 years. I am an M.Sc., B.Ed. My greatest strength is that I try to get psychologically connected to my students so that they can discuss with me any problem that they are facing without any fear or shame. I am an excellent motivator as well. I am from India. I help students of grades 9 and 10 worldwide to score high grades in Mathematics and to develop holistically.
Currently, I have some free slots available. So contact me before they get reserved by others!
I started The Tutor’s Table because I saw too many kids stressing out over school work and testing. Students are spending long hours “studying” or doing homework with little progress or reward for their efforts. They don’t get enough sleep, they begin eating poorly, they struggle with organization and productivity, and pretty soon their grades start to drop. They work harder, but now they’re losing ground because sleep deprivation and lack of good nutrition have set in.
As an online academic coach, I work with students to develop more efficient and effective study habits. Study habits that will still allow them to eat healthy meals and get enough sleep. I show them how to prepare for big exams and AP courses in a way that doesn’t jeopardize their health.

The mission of YGMT is to help our students recover concepts that they may have previously not achieved mastery on in the previous grade levels. We also help students that would like to move forward in learning concepts to prepare for future grade levels. My ultimate goal is to prepare your child to be able to perform the mathematics independently in the classroom. My focus grade levels are sixth grade through Algebra 1. Visit my website today for a free consultation to see how I can help your child increase their math skills and build confidence in their ability to perform at a maximum level in mathematics.

I have been able to successfully create, grow and maintain my own full-time tutoring business since moving to the NW Austin/Cedar Park area in May of 2012. Primarily, I have worked with elementary and middle school students ages 7-13 in mostly reading and math; however, I have tutored students from age 4 up through adult in reading, math (pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, and geometry), writing, handwriting, grammar, vocabulary, phonics, science, social studies, study skills and social skills.
Learning disabilities and special needs:
I have worked with many students with various needs and abilities such as gifted and talented, dyslexia, autism, Aspergers, ADD, ADHD and English language learners. As a classroom teacher, I would always have many students in my class with various needs and I would adjust my teaching methods to meet all of those needs during lessons. With one-on-one tutoring, I can structure my lessons to fit each student and the way that they learn best.
With so many standardized tests and the pressure that comes with them, many parents have asked me for help with homeschooling their children. Because I have switched to tutoring full-time, I have the flexibility and availability to accommodate children in a homeschool program. I have worked with several homeschool students who need additional help for various reasons. I have worked with several different homeschool curricula, and offered support through supplemental activities, additional explanation of skills and have even helped parents who are new to homeschooling select appropriate materials for their children’s learning needs.
My methods are simple, yet proven effective. I begin with an assessment of where the student is in a given subject area, then build up from there. I have found that most struggling students simply need to “fill in the gaps” in order to create a more solid foundation for learning.
While schools do their best to educate our children, there are often times when students need more. Tutoring can be an excellent solution because one-on-one help allows the tutor and student to focus on specific areas of need. Additionally, tutoring can be a great resource for students who are trying to get ahead in specific subject areas, or who aren’t being challenged enough. That is why I love tutoring. It gives me the flexibility to tailor my teaching to help fit the needs of my students.
I am a fully qualified teacher in the UK but I also tutor internationally, thanks to modern technology. I began teaching in 2005 and began tutoring in 2007 during my PhD in aerospace engineering. Once I had completed my PhD in 2011 I decided to tutor full time, and have been running a successful tutoring business since. My approach varies considerably depending upon the student and I pride myself on my ability to adapt. I am always friendly, patient and understanding. This is vital for maths and sciences, as they often cause distress to students at school and to adult learners, alike.
As part of my business I create online educational resources, some of which are available on TES.com, and am involved in course design. I have a thorough knowledge of many different examination boards, including Edexcel and Cambridge, for GCSE, IGCSE, A-level, and IAL.
